It’s a good old fashioned Get Ready with Me featuring all drugstore products!
I’m trying out several popular products that have been on my ‘Affordable Makeup’ wishlist for a while now. A new foundation, bronzer, blush, highlighter, eyeshadow palette – the list goes on!
With summer upon us, I’ve been longing for a ‘pretty in pink’ look and think I may have found the ultimate palette for a soft, petal pink look.
Join me as I try out these new favorites!
It’s a rare day when everything I try, I love. I can easily see each one of these new products making their way onto my everyday makeup table. So many hits and not one miss!
The Loreal Infallible Pro-Glow foundation has been current everyday go-to. The finish is lovely, a nice satin that can easily be worn more glowy with a dewy foundation. I’ve used it 6 or 7 times now and am continually impressed with how easy it is to work with and how well it wears throughout the day.
The Colorpop Blush Crush eye shadow palette (only available at Ulta) really filled my need for the perfect pink shadow look! A nine pan palette with 6 shimmers and 3 mattes, the color story will take you from soft petal pink to deep burgundy. So many looks can be created with this lovely palette.
I have a new bronzer love in the Elf Primer Infused Bronzer in Forever Sunkissed. The formula is as great as the rumors and goes on so smooth with amazing blendability. The cool tone is perfect for my fair complexion and I’m appreciating the soft contouring it offers. My new fav!
The Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink is the perfect soft rose tone. Laced with just a touch of shimmer, it gives off a gorgeous, healthy glow. The baked blushes from Milani are so popular for a reason – the formula is excellent, the color story sophisticated and the finish adds such a beautiful glow to the skin.
I’m so happy to have finally picked up the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter! This highlighter is a cult classic and a hands down favorite of so many. The formula didn’t disappoint – smooth, gorgeous tone, didn’t accentuate my fine lines and wrinkles and offered that wonderful glowing shift to the cheeks. Easy on the wallet and beautiful on the face!
