Makeup Reviews Over 50 – New Favorites!

Today it’s all about makeup product reviews!

As you might know, I’ve been on a makeup shopping spree, and I have been trying so many new products. Today I’ll be sharing about the products I’ve used enough to feel like I can give an opinion about.

I’ll share if I like them or not, how they perform, and whether I think they’re worth the money. I have a nice blend of drugstore and high-end products.

Let’s hop into the makeup reviews.

The first product that I want to talk about is the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation. You guys know I’m mostly a drugstore gal, it takes a lot for a high-end product to earn my love, and I’ll tell you this absolutely has!

Every single time I’ve used this foundation, it performs beautifully, sits so nicely on my skin, and it’s very buildable. It gives me just the slightest little bit of dewy/glowy finish. It feels just like skincare going on, that’s how moisturizing it is. My skin looks just as good 5-6 hours later as it does when I first apply it.

The Dior Forever Skin Glow is one of my new top makeup finds!

I actually found a concealer that knocked my socks off this month. It’s the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Concealer. This is a fantastic formulation; it comes in a little stick with a moisturizing core inside it.

It does a beautiful job of covering up my dark circles and making my under eyes look a little bit better. I don’t have to be super careful on how much I use; I’ve gone in twice with the concealer before and have not had it cake up or look heavy on my under eyes. It blends in beautifully, and it looks moisturizing but doesn’t settle into my fine lines.

Every single time I use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Concealer, I am blown away!

One of my favorite drugstore products right now is the Revlon Skin Lights Highlighter in Daybreak Glimmer. Oh my goodness – this is so very beautiful on the skin. This highlighter has been staying on my make-up table in regular rotation. It is so smooth on the skin, blends in beautifully, and comes in several different colors.

I have found this to be just really reliable, always looks beautiful, and doesn’t make my wrinkles look more noticeable. It gives me that perfect amount of highlight and glow on my skin!

Oh boy – do I have a great new mascara to share with you. I cannot believe how lengthening and volumizing the Maybelline Sky High Lash Sensational Mascara makes my lashes look.

My experience with this mascara is that it goes on easily; it doesn’t clump up at all, so I’m not working to get clumps out, and it lengthens in the first coat. I’ve used it several times now, and every single time my lashes look fabulous.

I apply the first coat, let it dry for a minute, and then I’ll go on with a second coat. When I do the second coat, I mainly just focus on the middle of the lashes all the way up to the top. This mascara has been so easy to work with; it doesn’t smudge and lasts all day.

I’m a huge fan of the Maybelline Sky High Lash Sensational Mascara!
