January Favorites Over 50

It’s January favorites, and when I thought about doing this video, I got so excited; these are some of my favorite videos to do – I love sharing the things that have made my month a lot better and so much more fun.

I have a wide variety of things to share with you: some makeup, a little skincare, a lifestyle item, and even a household item. There’s just a lot happening here today!

Come along and join me to find out the details of what I’ve been using and loving all month long.

Thrive Filtered Effects Primer

I’ve actually had the Thrive Filtered Effects Primer for a while, but I just pulled it out and started using it. I absolutely love it; it’s one of those products that when I go to put it on, I’m looking forward to it. That’s how good it is!

It is a silicone-based primer, but it feels so smooth and hydrating on my face, plus it really does blur my pores. It does an excellent job holding onto my makeup and a great job at prepping my skin to feel smooth and hydrated after my morning skincare routine.

This Thrive Filtered Effects Primer is definitely a keeper for me!

Maybelline Brow Extensions

I’m enjoying the Maybelline Brow Extensions. The claim to fame for this particular brow pencil is that it has fibers in the product that actually fills in your brows while you’re doing your eyebrows.

When I use this product, my brows get done so quickly. I smooth it over both brows and comb it in with a spoolie. I’ve noticed my brows do look thicker, a little fluffier, and they look more substantial. I feel that it does a great job at defining more brow than I actually have.

I’m really loving the Maybelline Brow Extensions

Betty Crocker Immersion Blender

I have soup almost every day during the winter, so I have been loving using the Betty Crocker Immersion Blender. I’ve had several immersion blenders over the years, but none of them have worked as well as the Betty Crocker Immersion Blender does. It will blend up a whole pot of soup in no time, and the result is so creamy.

This Betty Crocker Immersion Blender has been a huge hit for me!

Crystal Mineral Deodorant Stick

You guys know that I was casting around for a deodorant that was a little bit more natural without aluminum. I have tried a number of natural deodorants, and the Crystal Mineral Deodorant Stick is the one I’m sticking with because it’s the one I reach for most often.

It’s so simple to use. I just wet the tip and use it as a regular deodorant. I’ve found that this has been the best natural deodorant for me and so far, it has completely cut out any odor. If you’re looking for a deodorant that doesn’t have aluminum in it, the Crystal Mineral Deodorant Stick is a good one!

AHA 12% Body Lotion

If you’re looking to exfoliate your skin, oh boy – AHA 12% Body Lotion is the ticket! This is 12% AHA body exfoliating lotion, and this kicks the butt of anything I’ve ever tried as far as exfoliating dead skin cells.

This lotion is a much higher AHA concentration than I have seen in any other lotion, and I feel it when I put it on. It stings slightly but doesn’t last long. It works so well on your elbows and upper arms; it’s a really powerful lotion.

The cool thing about this lotion is that many exfoliating lotions are thick and can be hard to move around; this one isn’t like that at all. It’s creamy, watery, and so very moisturizing. This lotion soaks right in, and it’s beautifully hydrating. This AHA 12% Body Lotion is a winner in my book.
