It’s another Get Ready with Me(GRWM), and I got a really exciting PR package the other day. It’s the new Sigma 9 Pan Palettes, and you guys know I have a total crush on the Sigma eyeshadow formula.
We’re going to be looking at these palettes today, and I’ll be doing a full face of makeup – a lot of it is new to me that I haven’t tried before.
Join me as I try out these new favorites!
I have to tell you I’m a little bit surprised – I’ve never done a smokey eye before, and I think it turned out pretty good. Huge credit, of course, to the Sigma Eyeshadow Palette.
I was concerned it might not be an appropriate look for someone my age, but I think it looks really pretty. I was careful not to go too heavy with the dark up into the crease, so it was a gradient of dark from the lid on up to the eyebrow, and I think it turned out very nice.
Every time I use the Sigma Eyeshadow formula, I am so thrilled at how beautiful and pigmented the colors are and how beautifully they blend together. I think that there’s a colorway for almost everyone.
The No 7 Lift & Luminate Serum Foundation is such a beautiful foundation. It looks just stunning on my skin, particularly in my 10x mirror. It doesn’t look like I have a lot of makeup on my skin, it’s very skin-like, but it evens out my complexion and covers up all the minor imperfections beautifully.
Best of all, the No 7 Lift & Luminate Serum Foundation is at a drugstore price!
Alright, you guys I think I may have found another good concealer. I’m not saying which ones are my favorite now. I’m still on the great concealer hunt, and I’ve been trying all these different concealers putting some in the absolutely no category and then very, very few in the yes category.
The No 7 Lift & Luminate Concealer is the second one to go into the yes category. I like the color; it’s a little bit brightening but not too brightening, it doesn’t look cakey, and it just makes my under eyes look good. I did use the Wayne Goss trick where I put eyeshadow primer underneath my eyes, but I’m really like the way it looks.
I don’t think the NYX Lift and Snatch Brow Pen worked out very well for me. I’m not sure why when I put it on the back of my hand it looked terrific, but when I put on my brows not so much.
I’m thinking the difference is that I actually have a lot of brow hairs so what I really need to do is just fill them in a little bit and then just extend out the tip. It’s not that I need more individual hairs, and I think this just got caught up in my brow hairs.
If you have very, very thin brows and you need to add more hairs like strokes into your brows, I think this is a perfect choice.
The NYX Lift and Snatch Brow Pen is very inexpensive, and I think it’s worth a try if you’re looking to add more hairs into your brows.
What more can I say about the Maybelline Sky High Mascara. This has been my go-to mascara when I want a lot of length in my lashes. My experience with this mascara is that it doesn’t smudge; it stays all day long, and it is not a fight to take off at night.
I’m really loving the formula on the Maybelline Sky High Mascara; it’s been a huge hit for me!
