GRWM Over 50 – Fun New Makeup!

It’s another chatty GRWM(Get Ready with Me), I’m trying a whole boatload of new makeup!

When I say I’m trying a bunch of new makeup today, I’m not kidding. I’ll be trying a new eyeshadow palette, a blush, a concealer, setting powder, a highlighter – the list goes on!

Let’s find out together if these new products are perfect for us over 50 gals with mature skin.

Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette

I am absolutely loving the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette. The neutral colorway combined with all the different options in this palette is just stunning. All the colors I’ve used so far are so pretty. I’m thrilled with the different color combinations you could do with this palette. Most of them lean cool, which I have been loving lately. I can’t wait to see what other looks I can do with this palette.

If you’re looking for a cool neutral palette, you really can’t go wrong with the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek – Count Me In

This Colourpop Super Shock Cheek – Count Me In was another big hit for me. There is something about this formula that is just so good. It is so bouncy, and it’s almost like a cream to powder blush. It puts the most beautiful color on the cheek.

At this very moment, Colourpop Super Shock Cheek – Count Me In  is my favorite cheek color in my collection.

Revlon Skin Lights Highlight – Daybreak Glimmer

There’s something just so fun about putting on a highlighter; it adds just the most beautiful glow to the skin. The Revlon Skin Lights Highlight – Daybreak Glimmer has just the prettiest color, and the formula is just so creamy.

If you’re looking for a stunning highlighter at a drugstore price, I can tell you I think the Revlon Skin Lights Highlight – Daybreak Glimmer might just be the ticket!

Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara

I’ve started using the Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara because it’s the only mascara I have in my collection right now that absolutely doesn’t smudge no matter what.

It’s one of those tubing mascaras where it just coats a tube of product around your lash; it’s kind of a rubberized formula, so it doesn’t smudge underneath my eyes. I’ve also noticed my lashes look so long when I use this particular formula.

Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Conceale

The Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Concealer was suggested by you all more than any other concealer; it comes with an undereye powder. I use a bit of extra hydration underneath my eyes because this is not as moisturizing or hydrating as some of the other concealers that I use. I find that if I put down extra moisture before I put on my primer, it sits down better.

A trick I have found is the tiniest amount goes a long way. Otherwise, it can look cakey and heavy. It has excellent coverage and when I set it down, it does stay throughout the day.
