GRWM – Easy, Soft Makeup Over 50
Today it’s a good ol’ GRWM (Get Ready with Me), and I’ll be trying out a whole bunch of new makeup!
I’ll be putting together a soft, easy look while chatting up a storm and trying out several new products. A new primer, blush, mascara, and lipstick – there are some real good ones in this video and a few that may become staples in my makeup routine.
Come along and join me for this fun, chatty makeup session.
The Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation is a beautiful foundation. It is higher end at a luxury price, but it just puts the most glorious look on the skin.
It’s a great medium coverage foundation that’s also buildable. When using the Pixie Flawless Beauty Primer underneath gives the skin a lovely glowy finish.

If you are a neutral loving person, the Sigma – The Essentials Palette is a wonderful choice. This palette truly is essential for me; it stays on my makeup table all the time.
The formula is just delicious. I find the Simga eyeshadow palettes to be very pigmented, and I feel like I hardly have to go in with my blending brush and blend the colors out.
The two colors I used today, Snow and Nutmeg, are so unique. I don’t have anything else in my collection quite like them. The way that Snow brightens up the inner corner of my eyes is a nice finishing touch when I want a real open, bright eye look for the day. Nutmeg is so soft and subtle; I use it all the time in my everyday look.
The Sigma – The Essentials Palette is a real favorite for me!
These little Revlon Blushes are true gem. They come in at drugstore pricing, and they have so many different colors to choose from.
The formula is very, very soft; it almost melts to the skin and just gives a subtle blush of color. They have a lot of pigment and are easy to blend out.

I’m really loving the Illamasqua Lipstick line. It’s more expensive, it’s a luxury line, but the lipstick itself is so creamy, and the colors are spot on.
I have two lipsticks from the line so far, and both of them are my favorite for the color they are. Definitely loving the Starshine lipstick from Illamasqua.
I have to say I was really surprised by the Clinique High Impact Mascara. I appreciate the fact that the formula was very lengthening but not clumpy.
I like when I can get a lot of length out of a mascara without having them all clogged up and making it look like I have four or five eyelashes; this formula definitely didn’t do that. It made my eyelashes still look soft and a little fluttery. So I’ll have to say I’m a fan of the Clinique High Impact Mascara.
