Glowy Golden GRWM – Makeup Over 50
Today it’s an easy, golden glowy makeup look perfect for a casual day here at the beach!
I’m pulling together a host of makeup products that offer a soft, glowy look for us over 50 gals. There are some new selections, as well as ‘tried and true’ favorites that have been in my makeup collection for a while now.
Join me for this fun and chatty morning where I ‘glow up’ my complexion and give myself that golden, bronzy look!
Highlighted Products:
I’ve been using the NIRA for a couple of weeks now and I’m surprised about two things.
First, I had promised to use it every morning, and was really hoping I could stick with that (I’m just pretty lazy when it comes to things like this)! Surprisingly, I find myself using it twice a day — it’s so quick and I really feel like it’s worth the minimal effort.
Second, are the changes in my eyelids! I’ve been using it under my brow bone in an effort to ‘lift’ that area. About a week ago I noticed that my moveable lids were more visible. In other words, there was a lot more of it showing.
Can’t say for sure that it’s the NIRA, but it’s the only thing I’m doing different. I’m really looking forward to seeing how things continue to improve! (Use code PRETTY10 to get 10% off your purchase)
This is one of my all time favorite foundations and my top BB Cream at the moment.
I’ve been using the Missha for a year now and love the soft, light finish it provides with just the right amount of glow. It’s a K-Beauty brand and has quite the cult following.
Have you tried any other products from this line?
This is my first impression of this Milani Silky Matte Bronzer and, wow, I’m so impressed.
It’s a very soft formula and blends into my pale complexion beautifully. The color is perfect for me, without any hint or orange or brassiness.
It gave me a great sun kissed look and offered just the right amount of glow. Love this new addition to my makeup collection!
I’ve loved the Hourglass Ambient Glow Finishing Powder for a while now. It offers the most subtle, diffusing glow to my skin and seems to soften up my imperfections (please read: fine lines and wrinkles!).
The formula blends in effortlessly and works well over any products I’ve tried it with.
I think the diffusing effect is particularly helpful for my mature skin and I love the look it gives.
The Baddest Beige formula from Maybelline is one of my top nude lipsticks. The color is fabulous and the glossy, hydrating feel is one of my all time favs.
This color can be paired with a variety of liners to create a wide range of looks.
Today I pair it with Nude Suede shoes from NYX, and create a subtle, glossy lip look.
