Best of 2020 Over 50 – Foundation, Concealer, Blush

Can you believe the end of the year is here? It’s time for the Best of 2020!

This is part 1 of a 5 part series where I’ll be going over all the best products that I used and loved throughout the year.

Today we’re doing complexion, which means foundation, concealer, blush, highlighter, and bronzer. I’ll also be doing a segment on eyes, a segment on lips, one on skincare, and I’ll be wrapping this series up with my lifestyle favorites.

Most of the products I’ll be talking about are drugstore products because hey – this is me! However, there are a few high-end products thrown in here and there.

Let’s hop into part 1 of the Best of 2020!

Loreal Age Perfect Radiant Foundation

When I’m thinking about my most used, most reliable, can’t miss, blends like a dream, and always looks terrific foundation. My number one choice for 2020 is the Loreal Age Perfect Radiant Foundation

I absolutely love this foundation; it’s the foundation I still find myself reaching for when I want quick and easy and makes my skin look great.

When they say radiant serum, they’re not kidding! This is a very light formula and blends in beautifully.

One of the things I love about this foundation is that it just makes my skin look better. I haven’t had a single day that I’ve worked with this foundation that I feel like it has failed me or not made my complexion look better than it naturally is.

Pretty Vulgar Concealer – Little White Lies

The next category is concealers – I have yet to find a concealer that I can say is a holy grail must-have. I just haven’t found a formula like that yet – hopefully in 2021.

What I did find was a couple of concealers that look pretty good, one of them is Pretty Vulgar Concealer – Little White Lies.

What I love about it is that it’s very hydrating, so when I put it on, I don’t feel like it’s too dry or heavy underneath my eyes. It blends so smoothly and does a good job at covering up my blue undereye circles.

Loreal Lumi BronzeIt

I’m sure this bronzer won’t be a surprise to any of you, but it’s the Loreal Lumi BronzeIt. The pan size is generous for a drugstore price.

What I love about this bronzer is that it’s easy to put on, and it contours beautifully while giving my face just a little bit of warmth that I need.

Milani Baked Blush

The next category is blush – I adore the Milani Baked Blushes

I have several blushes in this blush line. Each color is so beautiful; they go on seamlessly and always looks great on the skin.

This blush line has just the slightest bit of glow and luminosity with it, so it looks so pretty on the skin. For an affordable and truly beautiful blush line, I think Milani Baked Blushes you really can’t go wrong.

Maybelline Masterchrome

Now we’re on to the highlighters, which I think is one of my favorite parts of my makeup routine. There’s something about putting on a highlighter that is so much fun and adds a wonderful radiance and glow to the skin.

My all-time favorite in my highlighter collection that I can always count on is Maybelline Masterchrome. It always goes on quick and easy, looks beautiful, and is so affordable.

What I love about this highlighter is it goes on really creamy. The color adds a little bit of glow without being over the top. It doesn’t settle into my pores or fines lines. It performs beautifully every time.

Milani Prep Set & Glow

I’m going to finish up with powders – Milani Prep Set & Glow is without a doubt, one of my favorite products for the entire year.

The light powder is so beautiful on the skin, and it comes in at a drugstore price. When I’m finished with my makeup, I lightly dust this all over my face and then put on my setting spray. By gosh, the finish is just beautiful.
