It’s an all new GRWM (Get Ready with Me) today using makeup specifically designed for us over 50 gals with mature skin.
Today I’m featuring products from the Loreal Age Perfect line. They have done a wonderful job with this collection, really creating formulas that work so well for more mature skin.
I have found so many products in their Age Perfect line that have become staples in my makeup collection. I can’t wait to share these exciting finds today with you!
Come along and join me for this fun, chatty makeup session.
The star of the show today is this Loreal Age Perfect Creamy Powder Foundation. I’m really falling in love with it for a couple of reasons.
First of all, it is beautiful on the skin, and I was a little bit concerned about it because it is a powder foundation, which typically doesn’t look as good on older skin or skin with more texture, but I was pleasantly surprised how nice and smooth it goes on the skin.
They did an excellent job formulating a powder foundation for us over 50 gals with mature skin. When they say creamy powder foundation, they weren’t kidding. When you start to put it on your skin, you’ll notice it feels very soft, and it feels like it’s sinking in right away. It’s a great medium coverage foundation but also buildable without looking cakey or dry. My experience is that it lasts throughout the day, and when it starts to wear off, it doesn’t wear off in a funky way.
My all-time favorite bronzer these days is the Loreal Lumi Bronze It . This is such a good bronzer if you haven’t tried it and you’re looking for a good one, this is it!
It has been such a gem in my makeup collection. The pan size is huge at a drugstore price. The formula of the bronzer goes on so soft and blends in so well. It contours beautifully while giving my face just a little bit of warmth that I need.
What I love about the Loreal Age Perfect Blush is the color is very, very subtle. You’re not going to go from zero to clown face in 30 seconds. This blush is a very soft color on the cheeks. If you’re looking for stronger color, this blush probably wouldn’t be a good fit. If you like something very soft and very subtle, these blushes do that beautifully.
The Loreal Lumi Glotion is one of my favorites. It is such a versatile product, and it is a cream product. You can use it as a highlighter, but you could use it underneath your foundation to illuminate your face.
I’ve used it on my lids to add a little bit of shimmer. It is just a fun product, and I’ve had such a kick working with it.
I’ve really been loving playing with cool colors lately, so I was excited to pick up the Color Riche Eye Shadow in Argentic. It’s more of a silvery blue eyeshadow, and the formula is just dreamy and blends out so well.
If you’re looking for a flashback to High School wearing blue eyeshadow, this is a fun one!
