You’ve landed on Part 2 of my latest Huge Drugstore Makeup Haul! (clearly, someone needs to stay off the internet . . .)

I’m sharing the second half of my over 30 item haul and breaking down what I bought, why I bought it and what I think it can do for us over 50 gals with mature skin.

In case you missed it: Huge Drugstore Makeup Haul – Part 1

Some of my favorites:

When you’re looking for some glow, the Hello Halo Blushlighter looks like it can be your ticket!

This little duo from Wet n Wild comes packed with some serious glow. I’m interested to see how it plays on mature skin and if I can get the formula to sheer out nicely and not accentuate my fine lines and wrinkles.

My plan is to use the blush as a topper over a more matte product and then top it all off with the highlighter formula.

Will it work out? Who knows, but it will be fun trying!

I’ve heard so many good comments about the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. Makeup lovers swear by this formula and I’ve seen so many choose it over high end powders.

I’ve used the loose formula of the product, with good (but not great) results. I’m curious to see if magic will happen for me with this pressed powder.

I’m going to use it as a setting powder and am also going to give it a whirl at setting my under eye concealer. Stay tuned for the results!

I love these little eyeshadow quads from Wet n Wild. Super affordable, with a great formula and so many gorgeous color ways. I probably own 7 or 8 of these little palettes.

This Hooked on Vinyl attracted me with the deep cedar color, which I’m excited to try for the fall. The neutral tones are a perfect compliment to the deep green.

This lipstick was a suggestion from one of you! I saw it mentioned in the comments and added it to my shopping list.

The deep rose with a touch of brick is a beautiful shade, and the swatch on my hand felt creamy and smooth. This could be a great shade to pair with the Hooked on Vinyl shadow quad above.

I’m looking forward to playing with both these products and seeing how they perform on mature skin!

Maybelline has launched a new line of lip glosses, Lifter Glosses. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, it claims to create hydrating shine for a fuller, lifted look. Hmmm, I guess we’ll see!

I could use a plumper, more hydrated lip! I chose the color Silk, a soft, dusty rose. The formula is sheer and feels very emollient.

I’ll be using this new formula in a GRWM soon, so we can find out together if this plumps or not!
