Empties! Makeup, Skincare, Haircare & More!

Today we’re taking a trip through my trash and I’m sharing all my makeup, skincare & haircare empties with you!

You’ll get everything from nutrition, to haircare, to skincare and makeup — it’s been collecting in my Empties bin for months!

I’m sharing what I loved and what was a big fail for me. Come along and find out what’s worth buying, and what you may want to leave on the shelf.

My Favorites of the Bunch!

Innate Magnesium 300 Powder

This is part of my one-two punch for getting a good night’s sleep. I take it with my Valerian Root about half an hour before bed. I simply add a scoop of the powder into a small glass of water and drink down my Valerian Root tablets with it.

The taste is mildly fizzy and fruity and I’m getting a good dose of magnesium along with a good night’s sleep. Win win.

CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream

CeraVe is one of my favorite skin care companies and the Skin Renewing Night Cream is one of my most purchased products from them.

One of the hallmarks of the CeraVe line is the great ingredients they include in their well priced product line. This formula is no exception.

Boasting hero ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Glycerin, this little dynamo is one of the best affordable night creams on the market.

Kenra Texture Defining Spray No. 6

I’ve been using a couple of Kenra hair care products for almost 20 years, and this is one of them.

This Texture Defining Spray is a big part of my hair styling routine. I’ll apply a light spray in the root area and around my face after I flat iron or curl my hair. After letting it dry for a couple of minutes, I style my hair.

The Texture Defining Spray does just that – it provides texture and volume to my hair and helps give me more of a lift to my hair style.

Milani Prep Set & Glow

The Milani Prep Set & Glow is one of my all time favorite makeup products. High end or drugstore, I haven’t found any finishing powder that puts such a soft glow on the skin.

The powder is very light, and I’ve never had it look cakey. I simply dust a small amount over my face at the end of my makeup routine and then finish off with setting spray.

I love the look and really appreciate this youthful glow it provides all day.

Kenra Volume Spray 25

After 20 years the Kenra Volume Spray 25 is still my holy grail hair spray.

It offers a light finish, but holds my hair well all day long. It’s not ‘crunchy’ or sticky and gives me great body for styling day 2 (or 3!) hair.

I’ve tried other sprays but keep coming back to this one. It’s just a winner.

Eylure Naturals

I had never tried false eyelashes until a couple of months ago. Luckily, I landed on the Eylure Naturals on my try.

For me, these lashes are incredibly easy to apply, give me just the right amount of fullness and length and last for several wearings.

Super affordable, these little lashes are a staple for me now. I love the look they create and the ease of wear — I never feel like I have something bulky or heavy on my eyelids.

The Eylure Naturals are a winner in my book.

Loreal Unlimited Mascara

The Loreal Unlimited Mascara is my current holy grail mascara. Funny, when I first tried it I didn’t like it, but after coming back to the tube a month later, my feelings were just the opposite.

There’s just something different about this formula. It goes on so smooth, doesn’t clump, keeps my lashes separated and stays on all day without flaking.

Sounds magical, right? Well, it gets better.

The real beauty of this mascara is the second coat. It goes on like a dream, almost better than the first coat.

Love this stuff!
